After completing her BA in English Literature and Creative Writing from UEA and receiving First Class Honours, Lili went straight onto study for an MA in Creative Writing for which she received a Distinction. During her time in Norwich, she honed her craft in writing, working to gain particular expertise in poetry, screenwriting and adaptation. She performed and wrote extensively in the city, working alongside producers at BBC Radio Norfolk to commission pieces for their programme 'The Social,' as well as being interviewed about her film poems as part of International Women's Day in 2019.

Whilst studying in Norwich, she also took part in a number of different workshops and activities with alumni from UEA's renowned Creative Writing course. She helped to offer workshops to vulnerable prisoners in Norwich, worked to create a cultural study of Julian of Norwich and took part in several literary conferences - just to name a few of the projects which she was a part of.

In addition to her studies, whilst living in Norwich, Lili also worked with the RSPB and The Rialto as an intern for their Nature and Place Poetry Competition. She has also worked in the Learning Department at Royal Opera House, where she helped the team to get arts education into schools across the UK.
She has previously worked for an independent film production company where she helped to research, develop and edit new stories alongside a BAFTA nominated producer and Curtis Brown represented writer. She worked alongside her colleagues at Script Compass to create a script development scheme that empowers emerging filmmakers to develop their stories. Lili has also worked as part of the Screening Committee for Norwich Film Festival as well as a Script Reader for London International Screenwriting Competition.

Following her work at Script Compass, she went on to work full time for Intimacy On Set for the renowned Intimacy Coordinator Ita O'Brien. During her time working alongside Ita, she also focused on her writing on a freelance basis. Recently, she has worked on a number of short films, that have placed in some of the most renowned scriptwriting competitions in the world and she now works full time as a Development Assistant for Carnival Films.
